John Galliano Men's S/S 2010!!!

John Galliano Men's S/S 2010
John Galliano
The travels of Napoleon Bonaparte were the thread binding the exotic chapters of a cinematic and riveting Galliano show, held in a cavernous, graffiti-covered abandoned pool. Utility garb in desert hues met fine oriental vase prints. Belts and knotted shirts bound the waists, defining the silhouette. Looks were topped with long coats in historical officer’s cuts and details. Some black versions were overlaid with layers of chiffon that billowed in their wake. Though that may not sound masculine, it was a gorgeous example of Western militarism meeting the languid sensuality associated with the Orient. For the requisite underwear portion of the show, Galliano conjured young Sicilian men draped in leopard and gold leaf. Looking to Arabia, a mix of suiting, denim and suede in sandy shades blew by. Flashes of gold embroidery and beading trimmed some of the denim. Long, silky shirts flowed from under blazers. In fact there was a surprising amount of tailored clothing throughout the maximal costume drama, especially for evening, where there were tuxedoes, smoking jackets and brocades fit for an emperor.

I enjoyed Raf Simons but thought it lack somethings that was in previous shows and collections. Here are some of my favorite looks!!!

Junya Watanabe Men's S/S 2010!!!

Junya Watanabe Men's S/S 2010

This Collection which Watanabe summed up in one word "snob". It is essentially one look in many variations. The thing that caught my eye and made me put it at the top of my list of Favorites has to be the fitted blazers and the all around preppy style of the collection. This is the second time i have loved pretty much eveyr piece Watanabe has sent down the runway. With ultra luxe denim and crisp vibrant shirts and accseories to kill for Junya Watanabe has showed one of the best collections of Fashion Week hands down!!!

Transformers 2: The Revenge Of The Fallen!!!

Transformers 2:The Revenge Of The Fallen
Transformers 2: The Revenge Of The Fallenis the shit.I actually went to see this a few days ago at the midnight showing and I must say this was one of hell of a movie. There is no one like Michael Bay, what a rollercoaster ride. There was more Robots, More action, more comedy and definitely more Megan Fox. Some people may say it was too long but i say let it go on forever. The Autobots and Decepticons went to war in this bitch and the humans played the background for this go round. I mean the world was ready for this movie, it made $16 million in midnight showings alone. Shia LeBouff was his usual awkwardly funny self where as they found every reason they could to put the extremly sexy Megan Fox in compromising position in the tights and low cut outfits they could find. All in all i loved this movie and would see it again in a heartbeat!!!

Thierry Mugler Men's S/S 2010!!!

Thierry Mugler Men's S/S 2010
Rosemary Rodriguez's vision for this S/S 2010 collection for Mugler was a far cry from the usual futuristic style the house of Thierry Mugler is known for. She opted for a more wearable collection featuring classic cut suiting and individual pieces with a touch of preppy. The colors are so vibrant and luxe that it will be hard to not want every piece of clothing that walked down the runway. This collection is youthful, fun, luxe, worldly and everything a young man in the know would want to be seen in. I must say this is not what i was expecting from Mugler and Rosemary Rodriguez surely made a fan out of me. I just can't wait to see what's next

Paris Men's S/S 2010 Fashion Week!!!

Paris Men's S/S 2010
Day 3
06/26/2009
Rick Owens
Day 3 brought out the edge in mens Fashion with Comme Des Garcon, Rick Owens and Kris Van Assche all showing. One of my favorite things was the way Rick Owens took something as common as denim and used it in a way only he could. And i also seen alot of people taking inspiration from American Designer Thom Brown buy putting men in skirts. It was a great day for fashion in paris!!!

Top 5 Michael Jackson Videos!!!

Top 5 Michael Jackson Videos

"Remember The Time"

Dangerous (1991)

This is another one of MJ's classic epic music videos. The dancing and cameos from a few of Michael Jackson's friends (Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, and Iman) made this one to remember. This came out back in the day when MJ was premiering his videos on prime time television like they where sitcoms or hour long dramas. and the Egyptian theme was only the right setting for the King Of Pop.

'Smooth Criminal"

Bad (1987)

What can be said about a video when Michael turns into a car to get away from the bad guys. Drives to a Jook joint turn it out. Do a dance break down where he leans towards the floor at an 60 degrees angle all without falling on his face, dressed in all white and moving like no other has ever done in the world of music videos. Amazing...That's All!!!

"Liberian Girl"

Bad (1987)

This is my Favorite of his Videos...Period!!!

"Scream" Ft. Janet Jackson

History: Past, Present, And Future (1995)

Michael Made History with the first single from his 1995 half greatest hits, half new hits of the same name when he teamed up with no other than baby sister Janet Jackson to make the worlds most expensive video ever. The things you see in this video where never done before and at a grand total of $7 million dollars there has never been anything close to it. Michael and Janet to two power house Jackson's with loads of hit songs came together for the first time to produce not only an amazing video but a song to make a difference. They took home the MTV moon man for this one, which if you ask me there was no competition!!!

"Rock With You"

Off The Wall (1979)

This is one of my all time favorite Michael Jackson songs and the video just gets to the point. Lights, Camara, Action give MJ the mic and he will take it from there!!!
