The Lost Party File...

I cant believe I forgot to post this and I can say that if my friend Yash wanted to kill me i would totally understand. I can't believe I forgot to blog about one of the greatest times I had all November. Well the date was 11/11 and the day started with Mimosa's and birthday gifts and cards. And there is no other way to start your 24th B-day than to the sound of champagne bottles opening.

After the liquid breakfast we did a little shopping and a little lunch Rugby cafe to be exact. After a really chill lunch there was more shopping and even more drinking once we got back to the loft to find something to wear out that night for the very private VIP party at the Science Club (1136 19th Street NW Washington DC 20036 www.scienceclubdc.com). After shutting the place down we moved the party around the corner to Fly Lounge (1802 Jefferson Pl NW Washington DC 20036 www.flyloungedc.com) where if you don't know someone or at least know someone who knows someone you can just forget it. But we partied the night away and everyone had a great time.

Here I Go Again...

For everyone out there that really knows me, knows I want to write. And to be honest with you I haven't finished a story in a few years. And for so long I couldn't figure out for the life of me way I can't finish what I start. It the answer is loud and clear laziness and a lack of drive. But as a 24 year old man I have to get up off of my ass and start going for the things that I want. And I really want to publish a fictional novel. I'm not expecting it to happen over night and I'm not expecting for this to be easy but I have to get this ball rolling. I have so many ideas and I have so may characters in my head that are just screaming to get out and it fine time that I let them. I will keep you guys updated on my progress and I will also be posting short stories here and there to give you guys out there a taste of what I can do. So wish me luck and maybe by this time next year you guys will be picking up a copy of my first novel from someplace.

Something About The Fall!!!

There is something about the fall that makes me want to be outside every chance i get. It may have something to do with the fact that its not too cold and its not too hot it just right and the rainy days are the best. I love when the tree lined blocks of Washington DC are just filled with color and to people are out walking there dogs and play with there children. It's something in the air of fall that's a little more organic than the other seasons. This fall started a little late but at this very moment I'm completely satisfied with the state of things here in the District. 

And lets not forget the fashion. Fall is one of the biggest seasons for fashion. there is so many different things you can do. and to help those how don't quiet have an idea of what to do in the fall ACCESSORIZE , Scarfs, hats, fingerless gloves, bags, tights/leggings, sunglasses (very simple ones nothing to gaudy), and so much more. One of the key things to remember when it comes to fall is that it is totally ok to layer. for example take a little jacket and throw it over a cardigan and button-down shirt jeans are a great match for this combo weather dark or light denim, add a scarf and please all of you fashionistas please one scarf at a time you should not be outside with a more than 1 scarf on, and you have a great fall look. Fall looks are very tricky because at the same time you can do to much but remember if you feel good in it, Do It.all pics were taken by ME!!!

Yes We Can...And We Did!!!

Let's just say that America can only be going in a direction of greatness. At 11:02 pm on November 4, 2008 NBC news was the first to announced that Barack Obama would become the 44th president of The United States Of America and not only would he be the president but he would be the First African-American President. I have to say this has to bring a tear to each and every person of color eyes, because this is something we thought we would never see in our lifetime. But Like Dr. King said he had a dream and i believe somewhere in that dream he saw Obama as the president. I'm not saying that Obama will fix every problem that we have but i can say like millions of others that i believe he will work the hardest at moving us forward and putting us back on the right track to being where it is that the Red White And Blue should be. This is America Dammit and that means everything to me to be American and means even more to me to see the RIGHT MAN lead us in that direction.
