Inauguration Weekend!!!

Inauguration 2009

This weekend is something people will be talking about for years to come. There has never been such a turn out for a Presidential Inauguration. I love being from Washington DC, but I can say I have never had so much pride for my city like I had this past weekend. Yes the parties were something to talk about the Celebs were out and DC was buzzing for One MAN and on January 20, 2009 that man stood in front 1.5 million people (reports mercurynews.com) and became what some many people told him he wouldn't become The First African American President Of The United States Of America!!! And to say i was in there to witness it is something that I'm so proud of.

Obama's Speech

The First Family looked as if the White House was always where they belonged. The First Lady Michelle Obama stood with such pride for her Husband and you could tell just how proud of him she was. President Obama Did not stand on the US Capitol Stairs and make promises. He gave the people hope, he gave them joy, and he gave   them something to look foward to. So lets just enjoy this ride we are on and all work together and Help or President to make a few changes in our Home In our Country, Because after all this is The United States Of America!!!

I'm Ready!!!!

Something about my life has me vexed. It seems every time I think I'm headed down the right path I come to a road block that stumps me for at leas 3 months. What the fuck is wrong with me. And please everyone stop telling me that i will be okay cause that all a crock of shit. I want the best, and for the past few years i think i have been settling for the alright or okay. It is time for me to stop waiting on shit to happen and just do it. First things first getting out of this confiding ass city i leave in. Next stop dreaming and move towards those dreams instead of letting them pile up and fading away. and the last step is to be me and nobody else. I can't be who everyone else wants me to be i can only satisfy myself for now and work on others later!!!

Dre has to be one of my favorite male models. And 2008 proved to be a great year for him. With print work for Levi's, South Pole, American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, Ralph Lauren Rugby, Barney's New York, and so much more. This young man is also a hit for the runways. He was apart of history when he took to the runways of the Sean Jean fall/winter 08/09 fashion show that featured only black male models. He was one of the lead models for the Dsquared spring/summer 09 fashion show (which is my favorite). You can also see his him in many fashion editorals in such publications such as GQ, Vibe, Details, Complex, Giant, Flaunt, XXL and so many more. And 2009 could only be bigger and better things for Mr. Douglas, keep your eyes open. Could this young man be the next Tyson Beckford?

Milk...Does The Movies Good!!!

Let me just say this is the only movie i wanted to see this past holiday movie season. And when i say i mad this review is coming a few weeks to late. This has to be one of the most powerful movies i have seen in my lifetime. And might i add Sean Penn gives the performance of his lifetime. Milk is great with pace, it is great with it's story telling and it is full of charismatic colorful characters that will have you saying what is going to happen next. It one of those unfortunate movies where you know the tragic ending, but it is so epically and well done that the pain you feel in it ends is not sad but more of a celebration. This biopic about a man i knew very little about has showed me there is a part of history that could be interesting. I urge you all out there to take the time and go see this Wonderful file directed by Gus Van Sant staring Academy Award winning actor Sean Penn (Mystic River), Josh Brolin (W), James Franco (Spider-Man), Emile Hirsch (Into The Wild), and Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical).
